  •  Overview:
    This scholarship is funded by the SAMHSA Grant for State  Opioid Response to develop more Recovery Coaches and Peer Navigators to  work in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) field.
    The goal of this  scholarship is to reimburse individuals seeking to obtain their IC/RC  certification for Internationally Certified Peer Recovery (ICPR). For  more information, please visit these sites:

  • Since this is grant-funded, it is a limited-time opportunity. The total amounts available over the life of this grant are:
     -Funding Year 1 (between September 29, 2018 and September 28, 2019)  = $20,000.00
     -Funding Year 2 (between September 29, 2019 and September 28, 2020) = $20,000.00
    The  maximum reimbursement for any one person is $2,000.00, and applications  will be processed in the order that they received. Priority will be  given to current peer navigators hired under the SOR Grant in order to  help them satisfy their job requirements, but only after they have  exhausted the funds apportioned to their employers.
